Extended Description:

Because he only had about 6 back teeth and couldn't eat hay very well, he was fed a special diet of grain. Fed 2-3 times a day. I bought a shredder/chipper and used it to chop his hay. He had all the chopped hay he could gum and spit out. We ran into his origional owner who was told he was dead. Imagine her face when she saw him. His age at rescuing was 26. He was put down at the age of 32 due to a severe case of cushings disease.
