Blue is at about day 331. In the past couple of weeks she has dang near doubled in size. The baby flips around in her constantly like a little trapeze artist . She has built a really nice bag and we are able to get clear to murky, not quite yet sticky liquid out of it. In the mornings after being stalled all night, she looks like a jersey milk cow . This morning I noticed that the position of the baby had changed a lot and she is carrying it a lot lower. There is no wax, but her nipple openings are a lot more visible than they have been.

I CAN NOT WAIT to meet this foal! So does anyone want to play a guessing game on when she will have it, what sex, color, etc. it will be? I have pics from Saturday that I will post...I just have to get up and go to my other computer.

I'll be needing name suggestions too, if anyone has any good ones they would like to throw out!

I know! I have been waiting on a baby by this Zanalyst horse since the day that I first saw him a couple of years ago! Now that it is so close - I feel like time is moonwalking backwards through molasses! I get calls all day long wanting updates and status on the mare! I hope that the foal comes out just half as good as what everyone has imagined and hoped for!

I'm telling you by physical appearance I will be surprised if she makes it to the 25th or the 28th. Her vulva is so extended and pooched out that if there wasn't an opening it would surely pop. And upon checking her bag this morning, I actually proclaimed out loud "Holy Cow, fatty!"

But attitude wise and behaviour - she just chilling and doing her normal thing. Eating and hanging out - nothing out of the ordinary.

I think I may get some of those ph strips and check her levels just for kicks....if I have a ph meter will that work too?

Ok first of all, that horse is terribly ugly. And second of all, it really needs to be shipped to Arizona..... or swimmers need to be sent back your way!
