I also suggest that you read our previous posts about Circus Animals and get the REAL story about PETA. We've been through what almost every single person in this forum thinks of PETA and their downright lies. I think you should know that PETA is against the ownership of ANY animal and against horse showing as well. Any horse person who supports PETA is a hypocryte. The topic of PETA is old, we've discussed it already.

Oh and BTW, I have MET MY MEAT. We eat our own cattle, we kill them ourselves. Doesn't bother me.

Circus animals are cruely used, its obvious. Its against horse showing because they feel it humiliates an animal, and it kind of does. Honestly if the horse enjoys it though than go for it, not every horse should show. I like peta and no im NOT a hypocrite, you are. You say you love your horse? if you honestly loved your horse than you'd be against the killing of horses, simply because you would put yourself in your horses shoes and think what if that was my horse? you dont.

She's saying you're a hypocrite because you own a horse, and peta is all for not owning horses and say that it is abuse.

In a sense it is, owning into slavery is wrong. But honestly my horse has one of the best lives, i'd trade lives with her! My farm (well, my parent's) is a lot different than most peoples. We have our herd of about 20ish horses who have about 50 acres to roam with sheds if they need to, a river that runs right threw it and they come in when they want or if they are called. We believe in natural horsemanship and honestly, we have a mile long waiting list for boarders. SIMPLY because our horses are so happy because they have so much freedom.

Also, just because you believe in something, doesnt mean you agree with every little thing they do.

As a vegan you do not eat any animal products correct?
That also includes foods made from animal products correct?

I am asking honestly since (as I mentioned earlier) I was recently thinking about this. That would be a very limited diet.

What exactly do you agree with peta on? Owning an animal for any purpose goes against their core principles. That's like saying you believe in Christianity when the only thing you agree with them on is that you shouldn't steal.

Cowgurly- you are a sick twisted person, I'd rather you not talk to me, you sicken me. If youc an look into a cows eyes and tell them "yummy yum yum" you dont deserve to live never mind be a care giver to another living creature.

Dawn- acutally its like beliveing in Cristianity and beliving that sex before marriage is ok. Its not the 'core' ideal persay. The horses that live with me are very happy, I know they are, youc cant find a happier bunch of horses except for maybe wild horses that are pampered (good luck finding those!)

willow- it is a very limited diet and a LOT of the food you have to make yourself (well, actually 99.9%) It takes a lot of work but Personally I think its worth it. Also if you use supliments it makes it easier. I drink soy milk (not as bad as people make it out to be) and a lot of soy products.
