Horse slaughter is sick, evil, disgusting and most of all a disgrace. Fankly I have nothing else to say on the subject. I really don't want to get going on this, I could go on for hours.

Of coarse I am partners with my horse, no she doesnt ride me, instead I do for her what she cant do for herself. A mother does all that for her child, does that mean a mother owns her child? Just because you are ok with owning a horse doesnt maen i have to be, i am a partner, not a slave keeper.

Okay, well answer this. I go out every fall and hunt. I shot a moose last fall. We took his body in and ate his meat. If you don't agree with hunting with guns (which is ten times more humane than bow hunting), my uncle bow hunts and eats the animals he gets. This spring we slaughtered one of our steers for meat. Your saying that killing the moose is better than killing the steer? Killing the free animal that has known freedom is better than killing the animal that was raised and bred for it??

Also, the hay you feed your horse has caused the death of tunz of animals. Habitat loss is huge due to farming, but also millions of small animals get tangled and have extremely painful and gruesome deaths from tractors that harvest hay.

Umm a mother and child are not partners.. In any species if a child doesnt do what a mother wants the child gets in trouble. It is no where near a partnership. If you arnt comfortable with calling yourself your horses owner then maybe you would prefer caregiver? Either way it isnt a partnership.

LOL It doesn't matter what you call it. You still own your horse and make it do things to please you. That's like saying "I'm not a gas jockey, I'm a petroleum engineer." Same **** thing.

look, i didnt come here to be attacked. Why dont you ******* people get over it? Cant stand the fact that ur a slave owner? fine, go deal with it somewhere else. This is how i feel and I am true to myself. Dont like it? tough ****, its a public board. I dont tell my horse what to do, I ASK, and I do everything in my power to actually save lives rather than massacur, wrong? Maybe in your eyes but in mine I am doign the best I can. I am only 15 and until I am old enough I cant do too much. And honestly, what i want to do is own my own private island and be able to turn out horses, trained to be wild, out free and hopefully study them. Let them live as they like and HONESTLY give them the freedom they deserve.

Why don't you guys go and wine about cows being slaughtered...how they are treated.....WAIT! you guys eat them ...you dont give a rat's a$$. Anyways. Just a point. Just because horses are your fav. animal..they wont live forever. I HATE SLAUHGHTER and would do ANYHTING TO PREVENT IT but than you would also have to stop slaughtering cows and chickens and you can't go fishing or anything. There is nothing you can do about it. We slow down the breeding. but don't get all upset because you can't change much

Your the one attacking, I never called you any names. I think you used the term "slave owner" for the rest of us, which is hulariously far fetched. Hey we can say what we want too. Can't deal with the fact that I like to eat meat? And shoot animals? And fishing, my family always goes on fishing trips. Big deal, I won't stop. I don't care what you do, doesn't affect me. Just don't try to justify that your "doing everything in your power to save lives", because your not. Grow your own crops and harvest all your own food and hay without somehow killing something. Almost everything comes from animal products somehow.

I asked some very honest questions. Several which you did not answer. No one was attacking you. You just had some large holes in your posts. That is why I asked for clarification. When you clarified I then tried to show you where your statements did not add up.

Willow, what are you talkinga bout, ask me anything and I will gladly answer.

Cow- I DO grow my own food! My best friend has a farm and they have hay, its not a big hay farm, just enough to feed a few neighboring farms to save for their horses. Things DO lead back to animal products and I DO try to save lives, idc if u eat meat, u want to eat a defenseless animal, go ahead. Its your life, if you can eat an animal that is inhumanly killed go ahead. (I suggest you go to Peta's site, www.peta.org and go check out animal cruelty, watch a few videos, especially "meet your meat" you'll change your tune)
