Your Horses?

Im going to be getting the cutest little weanling Irish Sport Horse and was just thinking that there should be a form where people can talk, share pics, and comment on their horses telling people all about their acomplishments and goals that they have with their horses. A place where people can comment on other people horses and help give good tips on how to help make there dreams and goals come true (good sites, trainers, answered questions ex..). Where we can get oppinions on our horses and oppinions about other breeds of horses. I know that I wonder sometimes that when/if I get another horse to be my second jumping horse, should it be another Irish Sport Horse or should it be some other kind of breed. Everyone just go wild and post lots of pictures cause pictures are always fun^_^

My horse Skyler:

Info:
Breed: Throroughbred
Gender: Gelding
Age: 4
Height: 16.2 hands (maybe a little more)
Other: He is a registered Jocky Club TB of the track about a year ago, sweet as can be, you would never guess he was a racer . A darn baby chewed off his tail thats why its so short and he looks sadly skinny then cause I was still trying to get more weight on him, he was skin and bones when he came off the track poor guy. But good to know he has gained a lot more weight ^_^

And my soon to be Callahan:

Info:
Breed: Irish Sport Horse (Sire Irish Draught, Dam Appendix aka TBxQH)
Gender: Colt
Age: 4 weeks (about 1 week in pic)
Height: Big for his age vet thought he was 3 months not 3 weeks when he was checked
Other: Sooo sweet, loves people, and not really scared of much^_^

Your horse is very pretty!!!

Here are my babies they aren't glamorous show horses there trail horse but ther stil my babies

Dilly
9yrs
Gelding
morgan/welsh/appy ( we think?? )
He is 15hands and thinks he is the biggest horse in the world . He is the sweetest too. He is a good trail horse kind of silly sometimes. We got him 5yrs ago as an unbroke horse from a wild herd in PA. Me and Dilly learned how to ride together. He helps when I need him. When I am really upset I can go sit in his stall and he wil leave his food and come put his head in my lap until I calm down no matter how hard or loud I am crying he wil be as calm as anything.. He is such a good boy

pics
me and my fuzzie little man

and then Snickers
1yr
filly
arab/saddlebred/paint
currently 14hands
We bought her mother out of a bad situation 2yrs ago we didn't know she was pregnant when we got her , but 10 months later we had a baby. She is my baby. She lunges walk/trot/whoa/reverse. Leads walk/trot/back. Pivots on hinds and fronts.Does not kick or bite but does lick. She has worn a little pony saddle ( although I willl nto be riding her until she is 3yr). And I have been desensitizing her to traffic and she is doing wonderful last time we had to tractor trailers go by and she didn't even flinch. And I am really attatched to her and she won't ever be leaving my care unless I cannot provide her wiht what she deserves hew mother unfortunatly passed away due to her intestines being misplaced and that baby is just like her mommy I look at her eyes and see Destiny's spirit in her. Like it says in my sig.

oh and just got her papers today she is officially reg. pinto!!!

pics

I made her a cake for her 1st b-day

Hello....you must be new to the forum. I LOVE both of your horses. They are gorgeous and the foal is adorable.

Here is Skye my 10 yr. old reg. AQHA gelding. He is an awesome little guy standing at only 14.3. hehe But, I'm not very tall so it works for me. lol He is an awesome trail horse....will go over/under/around anything. I've taken him to some shows and he is excellent there too. He cleans up pretty well.

Here is Justice my 2 1/2 yr. old reg. ApHC filly. I plan on doing barrels with her...she is quite the spirited little lady. lol I love her to pieces though....you couldn't ask for a more loving girl. She injured herself severely and was almost put down. She was on stall rest for 3 months and being 2 yrs. old she handled it wonderfully. I was sooo proud of her!

Here is Sarah my 3 1/2 yr. old (sister to above filly) reg. ApHC filly. I plan on running barrels with her and just hitting some trails. I just started breaking her this summer and she is awesome. I couldn't ask for a better behaved baby to be starting for my first time. Neither one of these girls came from a real great upbringing and it took me a lot of time and work to get them to where they are now.

All three of these horses have a home with me for life.
