I believe those are scars from ear mites that she used to have.. nothing can be done about it.

Smile I don't use any products

I has been said before and is so true. Regular, thourogh grooming keeps the coat healthy and shiney. I first curry then start with the brushing. The final step is wiping her down with an old towel to give her a wonderful shine. I have the goat hair face brushes and she loves that. It is good excersise for me (my arms) and very relaxing for the horse and myself.

To deal with the chestnuts, I apply either vaseline or baby oil which keeps them soft and you can then pick them off with your fingernail. That way they always remain flat and I think looks better. Also they can't get caught on anything.

my horse has those... not as many, but she has them - the vet said they are calcifications, they can be removed with a lazer, but that's not guarenteed. her's hurt her every once in a while, so she's really ear-sensitive some days... I used to have to take her bit off the bridle, put the headstall on, then put her bit in her mouth and buckle it up because they were so sensitive!

unless your horse has white hair then you'll know, and fast because the hair will be brown instead of white

I use vetroline it makes them so shiney and works great to untagle their tails.
