Your biggest horse related achievement

Well, what is your biggest horse related achievment. It can be anything, such as breaking in a horse, winning something whatever. I just want to know what your biggest achievement is

Mine would probably be... finally getting back my confidence to ride after some bad experiences with Jeda. Now there is no stopping me, lol...

Ok so not a very big achievement but still Im sure I will do something more this year now Im competing more

competition wise I would say getting my first 1st place ribbon...I seriously didn't think I would place and when I found out, it was the best feeling ever.

I represented NZ once, in Mounted Games, so I guess that would be it. Otherwise the first time I won an A1 (PC open level) ODE gave me a really big boost. But then I really like the feeling of satisfaction when schooling has gone really well, especially with younger horses who are getting past a big hurdle for them. So undecided, really!

Jeda that isnt a small accomplishment! Getting confidence back is a huge deal!

I have my big acheivments for each horse I ride and student I have taught... in the past yr and a half (we'll just go with since I have been here), my proudest moments have been:
  1. When Robert (Mossimo WA) won his junior horse class (HP)
  2. When Charm (RK Precious Charm) and I won our last class of her first show after putting in a good performance....and really just breaking and training her! I am always proud of my girl!
  3. Shrek....lol so far everything with Shrek....
  4. Charm (different one), just how great she was to start this yr....

hmm competition wise would probably be top 10 training level dressage at Youth Arabian Nationals, or Region 9 Champion training level dressage. Both of those shows were incredible. I haven't done a whole lot with eventing, but every show is a success and an achievement to me.

Non-competition it might have to be finally deciding to start jumping. I had always wanted to when I had my arab, but he was "toovaluable to risk injury" according to my parents. When we sold him and I started working Pal, I decided I was going to event no matter what. Now I do and I just LOVE it! I'm so happy I had the courage to stand up to learn something new!

Placing 14th in the Junior world pairs Mounted games championships in 2000.
