7 years ago, I bought this lil colt (had him gelded) I backed him, trained him and my sister showed him at his first show. He placed first!! I was ecstatic. So was she
Spy is my other acheivement. I backed him, trained him for 4 years in WP. He is my first WP horse that I have trained.
Future goals, to get Moose going good in HS, and hopefully get some good placings starting in Sept at our local show. Second goal is to show my appy foal (scheduled to arrive in this world mid Feb of '06) at ApHC shows here in FL, and to take the open circuit here by storm

teaching my horse to move off the leg. I'm still so proud of that! lol. Although I have come a long way. When I forst started taking lessons I was holding onto the horn for dear life in the trot. lol. Now I can read a book while trotting. Well, maybe not but you get the picture.

Probly taking the abused, frantic flipover who couldn't be clipped or kick-cued without him a) being drugged or b) losing his mind, and teaching him western pleasure and that clippers (cordless) wouldn't Eat him. He got to where he would trot so slowly, I could & had to bump him b/c he would sneak in a few walking strides. I couldn't clip his head, but his nose & fetlocks looked great.
A close second will be: if I actually break my friends 8 yr old mare to ride...

My biggest achievment would probably have to be being able to jump Ringo. AND not have him refuse of have me fall off! I remember one time I was afraid to jump a like 6 in. jump on him and now we jump barrels! Also, being able to take him out on the trail and not worrying about him spazing...and being able to canter.

With Star basically just training her to ride like she does...we still have to work on her canter.

Snickers is probably when we took our first High Point. It was a Reserve High Point but I was SO proud of her!!

Well and I really havent had any...it will probably be when I can finally show her and she places lol

See my thread about the results from the show i went to on the weekend. I won my rider class, and also won handler and pleasure. Got five firsts, a second, two thirds and a fourth. Just when the day couldnt get any better i was announced the overall winner for the show and won $250 worth of gear!! Wow it was the greatest day of my life, but you can get pics and all the details in my results from the show thread!!!
