Looks to be a good saddle to start out with for schooling, et cetera. Looking at the leather in the close-up pic, it looks to be a bit dry looking, but a good conditioning should help with that.

I like the second saddle better for some reason. Maybe it's just more appealing to the eye, but also the leather doesn't seem to be as dry [or look like it] as the first.
