Yay! We do lead changes! *video*

So Jesse and I were practicing our lead changes today after our hour long lesson yesterday. Was careful to only do a couple so that he doesn't burn out. Anyways, got a video to show off our lovely smooth lead change with me not falling forward.

We have been practicing them a lot. Sometimes they are really hard on Jesse, he leans and is crooked and then it is impossible. He also had a nasty habit of doing the front but not the back.

I've been having this EXACT trouble (switching the front and not the back). Glad to see you got him to do it!! Good luck with it, it only gets easier.

He is a beat late in the hind end, but it still looks great, he will get it soon enough! good work!

Nicely done!!! It looks like your horse really has a nice, smooth lead swap! (other than the fact that he's late on switching his hind end, but i'm sure your working on it!) Congrats on getting it done! You two look really nice together!
