Angry Wow, what stupid stupid people...

GRRR How stupid can people get?? I mean seriously.

Ok, So I was walking my older sisters puppy bella. I walked right by my neighbores house, (They have horses but DONT take care of them AT ALL)
ok so the mom was brushing this pony, that looked really unhealthy. And her little 4yr old boy was sitting RIGHT behind the horse, Like right behind his back legs, He was sitting there playing with dirt. The mom SAW Him there and she just kept on brushing the pony. I was just sitting there in Aw. God, Have people forgotten they are ANIMALS, They will kick and stuff.

It just ticks me off.

I think the difference is that if a young adult or adult decides to stand behind a horse, they are willing to take the consequences if the trust is tested or broken.

When a parent lets a small child play behind a horse, I would say that is stupid. Its up to adults to care for and teach children. Not allow them to be in harms way.

Fast food is a much different thing than a 1000 pound animal kicking a 50 pound child, in my opinion. Both are very bad for you, but one will kill you quicker than the other, and will have an easier time injuring you in ways that might not be fixable. Just because you let your kid eat fast food, doesn't mean you should let them sit behind a prey animal, or a horse in the summer when there are flies around. Even a simple stomp of their foot can cause injury. There are some things which we must allow our kids to have the freedom to choose from, and there are other things that we can't take the chance with at all. Just my two cents on the matter.

I have no clue what to say to that. Not sure what fast food has to do with a kid being at risk for getting kicked in the head. And why are you thankful everyone's idea if stupid is different?

To me dead is dead kill them slow or fast either way thew end results the same. The ones I can't get over are the smokers blowing second hand smoke all over their kids and killing them just so they can have a habit.

Maybe if they eat fast food all the time, they'll be fat and sluggish and less likely to get out of the way of a kick

Seriously though, I think it's ridiculous. No matter how 'bombproof' the horse/pony is. It's just simply not worth the chance. It's a completely unneccesary risk, why take it?

As for 'fast food' and unhealthy diets. Well that's another subject all together. But I don't agree with that either. Not saying you're a horrible parent if you occasionally feed your kid mcdonalds'. But if it's every meal (or even most meals), then it's time to step back and reevaluate.

In addition posting that people are stupid, did you also enlighten the mother and turn it into a learning experience?
