Words people mispronounce

We all know someone who calls the grassy area of the interstate a 'medium'. Come on, it's a 'median'.

List some more you can think of.

People who call Belgians "Belgiums" -- they're a horse, not a country!

Pair-u-la, as the Brits pronounce it. (It's Pa Ru La) lol

Oh man....talk about the arguments when birding gets slow and you get into the correct pronunciation of Pileated. (Some people say Piiiil-E-ate-d, I saw Pil-e-ate-d...)

Conformation. People pronounce it Confirmation sometimes. lol

Porsches. People pronounce them how its spelled (It's Porscha)

My little sister calls binoculars bi-knock-u-lars. lol

Which is why I just used the "how it's supposed to sound" spelling for Porscha's name LOL Figured it'd get rid of a lot of mispronuciation.
