I take a razor and shave off all of the whiskers. However, don't shave her face of trim her eyes hairs. She needs those for protection.

I usually do. I mean, they usually get fairly long again before I get around to doing it, but I think they look nicer without them, personally.

I leave them, unless we're going to a show. They aren't always pretty, but they do serve an important purpose! For shows I don't trim the inside of the ears either, just trim the fuzz even.

I have to shave under Sandys Jaw beacause other wise it interferes with the chin strap on the bridle. Muzzle hairs come off all the time too

I never shave whiskers - show or no show, they stay on, they're there for a reason.

I'm not about to take away a 'sense' just so my horse looks prettier.

I leave the eye hairs alone, but shave whiskers, with clippers then with a razor to get them totally gone. Guess you getting into the habbit when you show on the arab circuit

Viktor has never had his whiskers shaven off. They are still lovely and soft so there is no point.
My two others have thick bristles, but i always prefer to leave the whiskers on.
Unless you are doing turn out classes, it should'nt matter one bit.
Like Cav said, they are there for a reason.
