All of the Wintecs can use the wide gullet, but they only make the tree widths in medium, unless you get the Wintec Wide. The gullets only change the head of the saddle, over the withers- they don't change the whole tree size. A few years back, Wintec made their saddles in a choice of medium or wide trees. If you need a wide tree, you could maybe go with a used one. |

I have a Wintec Western with full QH bars. Fits my gelding wonderfully. However, he's very wide. It's too wide for my husbands horse. My gelding is a paint (Impressive bred) with huge shoulders. My husbands gelding is also a paint (but likely has a bit of walker in him) and the saddle sits too far down on him and pops up in the back. A Tex Tan fits him best.
