Wintec full bars saddle

I need a cheap saddle for working for a few weeks until I can get a show saddle. Does the Wintec have a wide gullet like they say?

All of the Wintecs can use the wide gullet, but they only make the tree widths in medium, unless you get the Wintec Wide. The gullets only change the head of the saddle, over the withers- they don't change the whole tree size.

A few years back, Wintec made their saddles in a choice of medium or wide trees. If you need a wide tree, you could maybe go with a used one.

If you are looking for a cheap wide western saddle, I wouldnt go with a wintec. The western wintecs never fit any of my horses. Better to pic up a cheap older saddle from a reputable brand (textan, circle Y, etc)

Oh, I thought you were talking English, here. The western Wintecs don't have changeable gullets, to the best of my knowledge.

I have a Wintec Western with full QH bars. Fits my gelding wonderfully. However, he's very wide. It's too wide for my husbands horse. My gelding is a paint (Impressive bred) with huge shoulders. My husbands gelding is also a paint (but likely has a bit of walker in him) and the saddle sits too far down on him and pops up in the back. A Tex Tan fits him best.
