so wich is better.

wintec 500

or

wintec 250

i want something to fit ginger.
(luna will get her own saddle)

just to school in so idc about "you cant do this or you cant do that " in it lol

my bday and xmas is comming up so i wana pick one to ask for lol.

The 250 is just under $300 new
and i found some one upstate with a used 500 for $250 in mint shape with the easy gullet change system.

down falls of the 250 is you have to have a saddler open it to change the gullet .

so help?! lol

The 500 I believe would be a better choice. I think they are more newer than the old model of 250. There are many out there on closeout right now.

500 definately. A 2000 would be even better for most people.

You can find good deals on both used.

I have a 500 16.5" for sale and a 2000 17" for sale. Neither fits me correctly (flap issues).

I would go with the CC version of the wintec... But you won't do that so definately NO 250, either 500 or 2000...

Yep, that's really not a good deal on a used 500. Granted it's with the gullet system. But still. So many places have their 500's on clearance/sale now (and have for some time).

Unless the used one you've found has CAIR, I'd keep looking for a better deal.

If they don't have CAIR, then they're foam flocked. The CAIR is air filled chambers. Works for some horses, doesn't for others. Also has a different 'feel' to it than standard flocking.
