There are two registries AMHA and AMHR
AMHA is for horses under 34" only
AMHR is for horses 34" and under & 34" - 38"
you can not show AMHA if your horse isnt registerd with AMHA
but you can show AMHR even if your horse is under 34" they have two areas they have A and B
if you would like to show AMHR we have shows coming up quick there is one in Ionia Mi, that is may 31st and june 1st I will be there saturday but no horse our horses arnt ready for that show yet. Then there is a show in Midland at the fair grounds that is june 13th - 15th and then there is another on at Midland it is Aug 2nd and 3rd and then there is one in berrien springs put on by a differant group MSPB&O Pony/Miniature Show
here is the link to AMHR http://www.shetlandminiature.com/ and also to get to know more ppl of the miniature world check out this fourm my name on there is MySweetElegance http://www.miniaturehorsetalk.com/index.php?showforum=1

How far is LeRoy from GR?

Im pretty handy with clippers- I will have to upload some pics of Skip from our first show this year.

I clipped him a week before, and had people coming up and asking when I clipped. When I told them The week before they were shocked.

I wonder how well they would handle my big body clippers? have to have my small ones for the legs, face, etc...

Takes me about an hour to get to GR from my place. If I could find a decent set of clippers I'd practice on my stud but seems like every pair I buy no matter the price, only last through one dog clipping and they are toast. Soooo frustrating!!

I know I cant make the May 31st one, have a barrel show. If I can ever find anyone close enough to get this girl clipped I could at least try to make some of the others..lol I was really excited when spring rolled around, started working her baught a new halter ect...but, I just cant get her clipped and lord knows my clippers wont do the job. I guess I could take her unclipped but I'm sure doing so would only result in a worse if any placing. To be honest she's never seen a show ring in her life, the lady I got her from baught her for her lines for breeding but man she's so nice why not get her some shows behind her to ad to her foals once she has a few right! Ah well to each their own I guess.
Thanks a ton for the info!!
