Will she pop tonight?

LOL, that's ok. By tonight my posts will be almost unreadable anyway, LOL.

And I just got done calling my vet. She's looking like she's starting contractions (maybe) and I told him I want that phone by his bed tonight, LOL. Bud's last two foals have been huge (and I know mom is supposed to determine size, but don't want to chance luck) and they even lost one pair last week, so I want him on standby just in case.

Of course, now that I said she looks like she's in the beginning stages of labor, she'll probably hold off and stop for the next couple of days, just to have it while I'm taking the kids to school on Monday. It's a 30 minute trip one way, so she'll have a full hour to do it while I'm not here.

Good luck with the birthing... it does look like she may "pop" for you tonight. Look forward to seeing the pics of the new addition!

Hmmm, wonder how much sleep you'll get tonight...lol.

Of course! I'm sure your very familar with this, but when Rowdy was born, I was so worried that Mocha was a maiden that I kept checking and checking. On July 20th around noon, Mocha was sort of jiggly in the butt, not much milk at all, and no wax to be seen. I was up till almost one in the morning, and before I went to bed I checked her, saying, "nope, not today". We woke up at 7:00 am to a still wet bay filly!

And Mocha with a full bag....

Anyways, I wish I lived near you guys, cause I'd be coming over for baby watch, then you could get some sleep!

Thank you ladies. I keep sitting at the computer, then getting up to check on her out the window then thinking I ought to be making dinner then can't help myself anymore and walking outside to hug that belly, LOL. Got a couple more pictures before it get's too dark and I don't want to use the flash till it's here:

Walked out and she's got her head stuck back in her feeder that she didn't want eariler, LOL. The two colts want to know why they can't visit with Charity, LOL. "Come on, she's right next door.

ROTFLOL!!!! Is that a go away and leave me alone face or what. Looks like she's talking to me, LOLOL. Or she's telling me to quit taking pictures of her fat butt.

This was my goal, a better udder shot. She is so full it's got to hurt and I pulled the wax off to check the milk. It's that filmy honey shade.

And let me tell you, that udder is full and tight all the way down to the tip of the teat.

Oh Bonnie, Bud went to Texas today

That's where Mary was, meeting the new owners (who should be wonderful and show the heck out of him but still, LOL) in Ok. today to send him off. Since my mare slipped the foal by him last year, and even though she was down there being re-bred, I wanted to be SURE I got at least one Bud foal.
