Wild About Wild Horse Photos!!!

This is the photo contest for all of those pictures of wild horses (mustangs, outer banks ponies, etc) that you've been holding onto because you've just known that someday, there would be a contest in the forum begging you to put one of those fabulous pictures in it. Well, this is that contest! Give up to 3 pictures (which will be judged together) of your favorite wild horsies. Either you must be in the picture or the photographer. NO internet pics!!! This will go until Friday, March 9th. Then I'll put a poll up and everyone can vote! The top five contestants will go onto the final round and the winner of that round will get a wonderful prize! (i haven't figured out what it is yet, maybe photoshop) Ill PM you if you get into the final round and then again if you win. If you have any questions, please PM me so this thread doesn't clog up. Good luck to ye all!

NOTE: this is a contest on the quality of the picture and how artistic it is, not just on the content of the picture. Soo... a clear picture of a horse standing still should win over a blurry picture of a galloping horse, but a mid-quality photo of a galloping horse has just as good a chance to win as the first example given. Got that? lol... i hope that wasn't too confusing...

okay... a lot of people are saying that they don't have realy wild horse photos, so i'm going to change this to a contest of any horse that is photographed while outside. This means pasture, field, corral, truly wild, and things that like. This also means that the horse cannot be inside its stall, a riding ring, on a leadline, tied to something, etc. I hope this makes everything a bit easier! Remember... PM me for questions and suggestions! (clogging is baaaaad...)

Does anyone even really have pictures of wild horses? I dont have any of my pics from Chincoteague on my computer. I have some of one of our mares going crazy in her pasture... lol

I have pictures of New Forest ponies who are technically all owned, but live a 'wild' (free on thousands of acres) existance. They didn't count in the last one, so I'm doubting they'd count this time round either.

here's my entry! the horses aren't techniqually 'wild' because their on a ranch, but they do roam free and don't get ridden and are barely tame.

The lady that owns the stable where I board has AMAZING pictures, they are pictures of the whole herd running and in the water and a few just standing there. She went on a trip and got a ton of them. I wish I could get copies of them and enter them in but I doubt I can.
