Wierd scar.

on his neck, sam has this reallly wierd looking scar/scars - whichever you would prefer to call it. his hair is gone in random small dot like patterns. its been like that for at least 2 years. how could i get rid of it?
it doesnt bother me so much at home just messing around, but at shows i would prefer to have his normal coat back instead of skin (:

I wonder if it may have been from bad bug bites in his past? Do you have pictures?

no i dont have pictures. i'll try to take some tomorrow and post them.

but its really wierd i have no clue where they couldhave come from. like bug bites that would cause scars like that are really uncommen around my barn. no other horses have scars like that, and sam has been at the same barn for most of his life.

You could try putting some MTG or mega Tek on it.

it could be rain rot. but since it has been their for 2 years i honestly dont think soo. cause if it was it would have gotten worse.. my horse got rain rot on his withers,... it has been their for lke a month and it is finally gettting better! it just takes time..

it would help if u had some pics...

u could try putting mtg on it! that should help a little...

or u could call ur vet and see what he/she thinks....
