So, I wasn't going to post these in for a critique because of everything going on with fixing Ollie but I decided why not?! I know these may not be the best, I apologize but do your best. And to the pics! If you cannot critique him, critique my form if you'd like. I want everything from his muscling to me and everything inbetween, critiques are to learn from so I don't want any beating around the bush. lol

In the first picture I see tension in your jaw, neck, shoulders, and elbows. I'd also like to see greater contact with your calf. In the second picture you have a slight head-tilt, probably due to tension in your neck. I'd also like to see you open your chest and bring your shoulders back.

Silver, thanks very much for the critique! I don't see the tension so much in the second pic, I think I just titled my head for a split second and it happened to be in the pic. lol. I look like I'm REALLY deep in thought though! I see it in the first pic though, I'm cringing for some reason though which would cause tension...

sometimes pictures show things that aren't really there and in this case they could have caught you at a bad moment, it's just what popped out to me but you know your body best.

I am just going to critique the second photo I'm not too sure whats going on with your hands in this one - sometimes it gets caught at an awkward moment though. I would like you to shorten your reins and put your hands a bit closer together. Make sure you have the same contact with your reins. Remember ... thumbs up! Your elbows look sort of locked (Its a bit hard to tell though). Try to keep them loose and giving. As others have said, you body does look sort of tense in this one. Relax your leg back a bit, keeping your calf on your horse. Take a couple brethes to relax your upper body - remember that if you are stiff your horse will be too In these pics you might be lacking forward movement.. (actually I really shouldnt say that because you cant tell from these pics)even though you cant ride him collected you can ride him forward, straight, and relaxed which are the bases to collection.
