hehehehe that is weird and kind of odd

Dougal came with his name, think he was named after the dog on the magic roundabout.

Jersees Partner...well the Partner came from his sire, Al De Partner.

The Jersee part is random....I have no Idea how the breeder came up with it.

Captain already had his name when he got to our barn. I never figured out why they gave him that name, and my instructor doesn't know either.

My husband named my yearling, he came as Oscar, then Bucket Head and now he is Wing Nut, and that he is !! I have tried to think of a better name, he is full of life, and wonder, loves to play with everything hence bucket head, Plastic, tarps basket balls, pop bottles if he can reach it, it is then a toy.

We bought Sassy (Sassyfras Girl) with her name but Sunny ('pending' Mr Clear Sunny Sky) got his because he was born at 7:30 in the morning on June 1st with absolutely nothing in the sky but the sun. It was a beautiful morning

Wow everyone has great little stories to go with the names! My mares reg name is Cabbys Coyote, we call her Kya (k-eye-a) from Coyote, just used K for some reason. Our pony is Shasta because he came with it, he knows it so we left it be. Other mare is reg as Dee Press, we said no way, my daughters decided she needed a girly name and call her Callie. My Filly we call Jazzie but looks a lot like mom so is reg as Coyotes Carbon Copy.

I already posted on this thread about Jazzie's name, but I wouldn't wanna leave Prestige out!

Prestige came with his name. I've had him for 3 weeks and my mom STILL wants me to name him Hunter, which was the other name I had in mind, but I just decided to keep his name.
