Why do you think 2 saddles are going for 125

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...116471131&rd=1

My cousin just bought saddles from this same dealer from e-bay do you think the saddles are horrible? I don't know they seem very very cheap to me. I looked at an earlier thread that was also from the same buyer. Do you think my cousin wasted her money its been over 3 weeks and she still hasnt recieved them

They are not good quality saddles. Sometimes the leather they made those "Package saddles" out of it really bad, and they wear easily. But for light wear, they are not that bad, as long as you dont plan to show etc.

You can clearly see from those pictures that the saddle trees are twisted, which is really not good for the horse's back. The leather is probably Indian leather, which is poor, but getting 2 saddles for $122.00 is not a bad deal, you could use them to start out with anyway. (still concerned about them being twisted)

Those saddles look to be made out of Indian leather. The dye used in these saddles runs rather horridly and the quality of leather is rather poor.

how can you tell if the tree is twisted or not ? could it be the angle from how the picture was taken?

No, I dont think it's the picture. It's QUITE common for saddles to come out of the factory with flaws and imperfect trees, but cheap saddles seem to be far more flawed. Those look twisted.

I think it was a good deal. Thats like...60 dollars a saddle. If she is just going to be riding english every once in a while its good. But if shes planning on riding in them daily then she should look into something else
