why are some posted pics so big?

I just wondered why when I insert something from the advanced thread page, it it a small thumbnail that gets bigger if you click on it. Other people just put the bigger picture in the post...I wish my pics were normal sized instead of little...

If you go to your pic page, and right click and select "copy image location".

Then you can insert it on the advance page, just put the URL in where it asks for it. Then it'll show up as a big image instead of the little one.

ETA: I have mozilla firefox, so I'm not sure if the "copy image location" is available with other browsers such as IE, or Netscape. If not, right click the pic, go to properties, and get the URL for it there.

That's what I meant, go to the gallery page with your pics, and get the URL for the pics there. That way when you press the little yellow pic box in advanced mode, you can insert the URL.

Did you get the pic's URL or just the page url? You have to right click on the picture > properties then get the URL of the actually image ITSELF.

Small pics are good!!!!!! for us people with slow computers Then we can choose to enlarge them or not, and they don't get so big that a scroll bar appears at the bottom and the text goes off the edge :/
