Here are the websites for each of them if anyone wanted more information and some other pictures to look at.

RS Pine Oil Slick (first stallion): RS Pine Oil Slick
The Quest (second stallion): The Quest

Personally, I would stay away from The Quest strictly on principle. He's a handsome guy if you like the "beefy" boys, but he's also N/H, which means even if your mare is clear he still has a 50% of siring a N/H foal who could have HYPP attacks. That's not a risk I'm personally willing to take.

I actually rather like the looks of RS Pine Oil Slick. I favor the more versatile stallions that have a more "all-around" conformation myself. However, I don't like the fact they don't really have any good pictures of him squared. The one picture not under saddle is taken at a slightly odd angle and makes his back look very long and his hindquarters a little off to me. I do find it a little odd the Equine.com ad has him listed as a "Cutting stallion" but nowhere in the actual ad or website is cutting mentioned. I'm guessing either it was a mistake or the owner is just trying to generate a little more interest since I've heard cutting is a pretty big time sport right now. If I was going to consider him, personally I'd ask for a lot more pictures and a video myself. I don't think the few pictures on the site are enough to make a fair judgment of his conformation, though his first two foals look pretty good to me.

Lovebandit, what are you looking for? Specifically a black QH stud?

I don't like the first one..he is just ok for me.

I do love the second one He's gorgeous and well built I like halter horse though. BUT.....I DO NOT like the fact that he is N/H I personally would stay as far away from that as possible. Yes it makes them look big and bulky and there muscles sure pop, but who wants the trouble that comes with it.

What about Copy of A Page? He's a nice black QH stud. Sired by Page Impressive (HYPP NN of course). Copy Of A Page (AQHA Black Stallion) He's bred to halter and ride. Show baby or just fun baby? QH or paint?

more fun than show......QH, i don't really like any Impressive lines though because most of the Impressives i have known have been a bit high strung......and we would like to mostly trail ride the baby and go to some local shows....so being high strung would not be good.........he seems to have nice confirmation overall though...
