I just wanted to throw something else in. There are a lot of people who can sing who go to audition, and don't make it. And, so many times, they think that they're terrible, and give up singing. A lot of times, they just can't put through everybody who can sing. And, keep in mind that they're looking at your overall image and everything. Theyr'e looking for a superstar to make them money. Unfortunately, it's not only about your voice. It's about your look, and your stage presence, and your personality, and all sorts of other factors.

If singing is somehting you love, whether you make it through or not, don't give up They're opinion is only worth so much, because they're looking for so much more than a singer.

That is soo true, i heard some amazing singers there that werent the best in looks and they did get past first round. I felt really bad because they were so disapointed.

I agree they are going for more then just a good voice, and i dont think that they should be allowed to judge you on your looks... Its not your looks that are going to make you money , dont get me wrong that would help. I think that they should havet to be behind a screen so that they judges cant see them durring the audtion. I bet that would help alot.

Oh I tried out and MADE IT! Ya they were like you are awesome! I was cut before the big cut but travelled and.... OH wait, I was dreaming.. ha ha . No never tried out and never will. Kids are my life now and my voice has never been that erm.. great I do try though, at everyone elses expense.. ha ha
