As far as non-Arab trainers, Clinton Anderson hands down. I've seen him in person and have a ton of respect for him. His methods are ones I use, although I'll readily admit to changing them slightly at times to suit what I want to achieve.

Morris, Wright, de Nemethy.

I appreciate Sally Swift, and Jane Savoie for their 'mental' training techniques.

Rofl! I rode under him as a Jr. Believe me, he isn't any easier on a kid! I used to make him so mad I thought he'd have a heart attack. Some days I prayed that he would! But, he still tops my list of favorites.

This is tough....Ray Hunt, Bob Loomis, Bill Horn, Dale Wilkinson, John Lyons, Al Dunning.

ROFLOL - yeah...that is depressing. My favorite dressage trainer is dead: Herbert Rehbein. My jumper trainer - if he's not dead, he is very old: Mike Schulze. To put things into perspective, my current favorite trainer was barely born when I was finished with college....
