haha there ya go!

To the OP OMG! He looks SO amazing! Better than most horses I see! You'd never know he has seen a day of neglect.

He is absolutely GORGEOUS! I am stunned at the before and after pics! Wow, you should send them to a horse magazine or something.

Thanks so much! His maintenance diet isn't very different from his weight gain diet, just less of it. Per day he gets 3 flakes bermuda grass, one flake alfalfa, 1/2 scoop alfalfa pellets, 1 scoop senior feed, 1/2 scoop BOSS, 1 tsp scoop Lysine, 2 tsp scoops paprika, 1/2 scoop beet pulp. A scoop being one of those medium/large plastic feed store bought scoops. All of this is spread out over three feedings, and will go down a bit more as his metabolism and calorie requirements even out. Anyone think he should be getting anything in addition to his current diet, in case I am missing something vital?

Wow, only 3 months? He looks awesome!

Just curious though, why the Lysine and Paprika? What do they do?
