| Senior Member+ | i shaved Breezes whiskers off once because i was going to a show, i then gave her her bucket of feed and she FREAKED, totally spooking out and snorting at her bucket! I think that as she uses her whiskers to forage about in her bucket, not having them there kinda shocked her!!! I havent done it again, i would rather put my horses comfort before a rosette, but this IS a personal choice, and i am sure horses that regularly have them shaved adjust to it accordingly
