Which products work to darken leather?

I have a very dark-oil antique saddle that I recently had a breast color custom made for. For some reason, the breast collar didn't come with the center tie-down strap that goes between their front legs to the girth. Well I got one whipped up with a scrap piece of leather and some buckles; it's not gorgeous, but it does the job. Problem is, the piece of leather I used is a medium-oil color and it's pretty obvious.

Also, my headstall is about the same color as the piece of leather and I'd like it to be a bit darker.

I know leather can be darkened with oiling, but which products and techniques, if there are any, to darken up some leather? Any advice would be much appreciated

Here's the headstall and the little tiedown strap (you can't really tell how different the colors are).

I see you got a tiedown strap that works

I'd try some good 100% neatsfoot oil

Hydrophane Leather Darkening oil is nice. Whether it can get this leather as dark as you want remains to be seen.

You can always use some leather dye.
