I cannot tell whether Jester is a semi QH or a full QH, he really seems to be in the middle. I own a semi QH saddle, and I have used it for a few months now. It seems to work fine, I check for hair rubs and he isn't sore or acting up, but the saddle I had before was full bars, and we had no problems with that one either. My instructor had looked at both saddles when fitting them as well, and said that both were fine. Now I am looking to get a barrel saddle, and I am unsure whether to get semi or full bars. What do you think?

Maybe try afew more saddles, one makers full QH is another's semi. You'll fund the right fit eventually But if you had to I'd go with wider with some extra padding.
