Exclamation when the seller thinks somethings up

I have a horse for sale and i got a reply for him it is a 1 year old stud from colonel freckles and he is goin for $700. The guy is goin to send money for 3000$ and then he is goin to have a pick up guy come and i will deduct my price and send the rest with him to take him to the guys house which is in canada and i live in texas. do you think that this sounds good? let me know what you think Thanx

Did you have your horse posted on the internet? It sounds fishy to me, if you don't know the guy. Scams are set up like this, so be careful if you do it.

Sounds fishy to me. There are so many scams where a "buyer" overpays and gets a refund, and then the check/money order turns out to be fake and you're out $3000 AND your horse. Be careful!

yeah i told him that i was goin to give him my work addy to send the money too and i wont let the horse leave my property until i have CASH in my hands. i told him to send it there just in case he trys to STEAL MY HORSE! lol well Thanx you guys i will prob do this offer just make sure that i have money before n e body comes near the horse.

if i were you i wouldn't go through with it...what do you know about the buyer? a responsible seller will ask just as many questions as the buyer would ask...make sure he'll give your horse a good home...be very careful and don't assume anything. Also, make sure you talk on the phone and not through e-mail

That is the classic horse buying scam, don't go there. I wouldn't even waste anymore time with the "buyer" as they aren't really interested in your horse.

As soon as you get the money order, take it to the police.

This is the most common scam you will see.
