Question When should I exptect "Them"

My colt is just over 4 months old now and I was wondering when both of his t*esticles should be "present" ie. in the s*crotum. Occassionally I have been able to notice/feel one present but I have yet to see the other. I would like to have him gelded ASAP but the other one needs his "buddy" in order to get it done! lol
I was wondering when should I expect to see the other or is it common for one to be dropped and the other to stay inside at this age (I've also noticed that neither of them seem to be around when he is cold or just waking up )

Any comments would be appreciated.

Have your Vet check your colt...many times they can go ahead and do the job when you think that the colt's still not totally dropped.

Most of the time, they would be dropped by this time, however, it is not Un-common for one or both to be retained at this young age. I had a colt retain one testicle until he was over a year and then finally drop. I would just keep an eye on 'them'. They could also go back and forth where one drops and then the other and so on back and forth until they both drop and remain. At 4 months I would not worry over much. If he has still not dropped by 8 months, I would have him checked out.
