Okay biting is not the same as pulling back... I can see what you are dealing with now. Your version of tying up will work fine since there is no pull back issue. If pulling back is an issue then let me know and I will get some photos.

My mare is getting much better. So patience and working is really helping. I bet you can work through it with yours.

Wish you were closer... I would say let me have her for a week so I can fix it. This is my type of issue I love to fix.

I would also consider using a quick stop so that there is pain associated with her moving suddenly to bite you...

Another thing I would try if you have an extra helper is a shock collar. Good luck.
