Whats your thoughts?

Ok we dont have the money to build a big barn with an arena in there. Theres is part of the pasture that I use as a working area. Its atleast 80ft long i dunno how wide, but you thinking just putting a roof over it and leaving the sides open would work? Or am i just being weird. LOL. Its such a pain not to be able to work my horse when the ground is wet. if it would work how would it work, since there couldnt obviously be posts in the middle for extra support. What are my options for having one built and how costly do you think it would be?

Or should I just forget the whole idea. lol.

thanks indvance.

I think that could be a good start. Some places (usually warmer climate then IN) have those. It would allow you to ride on rainy days at least, and maybe further into cooler weather. You could always close it in later. We just built one, and I will tell you, the most expensive part is the frame and the roof...so you may end up spending an arm and a leg anyway.,..

Thanks for the imput. I'm going to talk about it to mom tomorrow and see what she thinks. I know i'm definately going to have to pitch in some money and stuff, but in the end it will be well worth it!

Which would be cheaper?better? a wood roof with the roofing ect. or a tin or metal whatever it is....lol.
