I get along well with my mom as well. We look a lot alike, but we don't act the same at all. I love her very much though, I can come to her with any problem I'm having and she will always listen and give advice, and she is very understanding. I can tell her pretty much anything without her getting mad, my friends think it's weird but we actually tell each other almost everything. We do have off days.. especially when it's our times of the month but I think we have a great relationship.

My mom is the best I could ask for. She and I get along really well. When I was little, I was closer to my Dad, and as I've grown up, I find myself around her alot. She's a person I can go to anything for, and no matter what...she's always right

well my mom and i used to be really close up till 7th grade,
then i started to make some stupid choices so we just kinda fell out,she just seemed so angry with me all the time.
Well 2 years later, me and her are trying to repair our relationship, but its hard, i cant talk to her like i used to. She found out about my boyfrined that i had been dating for almost 6 months, because my sisters showed her my facebook. So i dont think me and my mom will get to the point where i feel comfortable telling her stuff like that for a while

My mom and I don't always get along very well. We disagree about a lot of things, she doesn't really support the whole riding thing. In fact, she's never even come to a single lesson or show. She doesn't like me "getting dirty" or mucking out stalls at the barn at all. She said that I go there to ride, not muck out stalls.

But what she doesn't understand is that I like doing that kind of stuff. (the mucking out stalls isn't the most enjoyable thing, but it beats cleaning my room, lol) she thinks that I'm only into horses because I can ride them and jump my little "hurdles" with them (her wording not mine, lol.)

But, when we aren't fighting about my horseback riding career (which isn't very often, unfortunately) we get along great. I really appreciate her for what she does for me, even though she doesn't like me horseback riding.

Sorry, reading this over again it kind of turned into a vent. ><

My story:
My mom and I are close, I'm closer with her than with my dad. We fight almost every day or every other day, but in a playful way, and we always make up. I like to tell her how to do her make up and things like that, and she gets kinda mad at me... but we have a good relationship. Good thread by the way.
