I love my dad, he raised me basically, we are very close, I love him so much! On the other my mom and I have a eh relationship, I don't really get along with her.

My dad and I are so alike it's scary. So typically we get along really well, but sometimes the fact that we are so alike makes me annoyed with him at times, but I love him. It's really neat though, both of us enjoy all the same things.. we love taking camping trips, canoeing, hiking, etc.

My dad and I have a kinda weird relationship. He picks on me all the time (the loving kind) and we are so stubborn that we aruge alot. but most of the time we laugh at the end of it. We have pillow fits, we are just really stubborn, and we are so much alike its scary. and we but.t horns sometimes. but I love him.

and im really sry about those who dont (im not saying "oh, poor you!" or anything)
anyways, i love my dad so much! this morning, he got me two packs of halls and i know its not much but still!
and in fall-winter and mid-spring, he would go to my room before i went to bed and turned up the heater every night

My dad is very similar to me as well! We spoils me, to say the least! Basically anything I want, I mention it and he gets it. Which does get annoying, I have to say!

But we spend a lot of time together, although I wouldn't say that we're close. We are both extremely stubborn and argumentative, but we share a lot of the same opinions. Our relationship is pretty much, I'll be nice to you if you're nice to me. Sometimes, though, he is completely illogical! He will do things that make NO sense, and miss out on HUGE hints. And he embarrasses me on a regular basis, though not really around my friends...just things that would be embarrassing if someone saw/heard it. He has not ever said 'no' to me that I can recall, and he's up for anything. I can ask at 9:45 at night if 6 friends can stay over and he asks who he is picking up and where we want to go! He's awesome like that.

So after almost 18 years of Mom and Duck being married and Duck being my father.I am finally going to change my last name. I have wanted to do it for a LONG time now.. but issues with the other "family" caused problems! But I am 19 years old now, and i am old enough to say who i want to be my father... he is not my biological father. but my biological father is no longer in my life (He was killed hwen i was 5mths old) and duck has raised me and in my eyes, he is my father! I am turning in the papers to the clerks office tomorrow. I am really ready for this and have been for a long time... He means the world to me and I am a Harlow... not by blood but might as well be....I will be glad when it is final and ccan sign my name as "jessica harlow" it will mean the world to me, and to him. The name doesnt matter, its the relationship we have, but its time for me to have his name.

As you can tell he is an AMAZING person, he steped in to my m oms life after my dad was killed, and never even thought twice about being my dad... he just did it! We have the bst relationship ever.. and i am a daddys girl no questions about it!

Well...lets just say it could be worse for me a lot worse but it still kinda no no wait it sucks. So in the last year his personality has changed so much it almost impossible to call him Tim because hes not the same dad he was 4 years ago. Also he makes up stories to make himself sound important or make it sound like he was in harms way, but they stories are sooo sooo out there that you can just tell they aren't true. But then when when something really does happen he just makes it sounds worse. He also thinks that all the animals love him cause they come to investigate him (for example he thinks one of my horses loves him cause she tried to satisfy an itch on him.) He also lies about everything, like whats going on in his job, about things his family says...everything. He says he cares about me and my brother but when he gets the chance to hang out with us he is either sick or something is wrong, or he makes something up so he can leave, also he doesn't like me very much or it seems he like my brother more than me. Also he tries to be me and my brothers buddy not what we need...him as a father, and he gives us these pep talks saying he's getting better he wants to see us, and then tries to pin us in a corner making us promise to call him. Well I could say a whole lot more but I think that would take to long and be sorta boring.

my dad and I are so much a like that we have a hard time getting along.. I think he expects me to act like mom... but I act like him instead and it throws him off.. XD we fight a lot, and are too stubborn to be nice.. but there are moments when we really click and get along great.
