to me i see him giving on the right front leg...my mare used to do it but hers was due to her hoof, which we were able to help with. i have no idea though where the pain or dicomfort could be on that leg for him

I actually think it's his left front knee. He seems to not be reaching with it as well as his right. I could definitely see that it was a problem with the front because his stride isn't even there. It could be his right that is causing problems, but I definitely think he's tending to give more to the left.

I would have liked to see him go both directions at the canter though.

Gluey: There's a short clip at the beginning of the video of Torreau troting to the right. I didn't post much of him going right, as it's more noticable when he goes left. When you say "offside lower front leg" do you mean his lower right front leg? Just want to confirm that.

Yep thats what he meant

My first thought was not in the back...
I think it was his front left leg.

I tried veiwing the video again but its just so dark and rather blurry on my computer. In most instances I cant even see the individual legs just the whites of the legs. The right hind did do some lagging or hang time esp when going into the canter. I am going to try and fiddle around with the video to see if I can clear it up some or what ever I can to see better. All I have to look at is a 3x3 inch block for a video. There has got to be a way for me to enlargen this video and clear it up but I am not computer savy. I will just have to play around with it to see what I am either seeing to what I am not.

At first I also thought right hind, but have morphed to left shoulder or the base of his neck. He seems very tense through the neck as well which may be affecting his hind end movement.

Well I wasn't going to guess because I am offal at this. But since no one said what I guessed here we go...

I think I see offness in the front left, shoulder? leg? I don't know. I know I am probably WAY off but just had to join in on the learning experience.

I am going to take a guess at this as well, but for me looks as though the right front leg is lagging or not as much action in it.
