I own a 17.1HH TB gelding.. thankfully he's a narrower boy so I can actually ride him, but he's a blast.. very calm and level headed to be so big .. let's see if I can post a picture.. but the biggest horse I've ever ridden was an 18HH Shire.. I think her head was a big as me!!!

Tallest ever seen: probably (other than Draft horses, but I have seen 18hh Drafts at a horse pull before!) about 17hh. Tallest ever riden: (Don't laugh) 16hh (our horse Shadow.) LOL, I love small horses, probably because it's closer to the ground to fall. :P LOL
