I have a baby clydesdale and he is 5 months old today! He is already 13.2 hands, and his mom is 17.1 and dad is 18 hands. I can't wait!

Also my trainer had a big 17.2 hand horse, I rode him once and it was way off the ground! He was like a tank and he knew it!

The biggest horse I have seen was an 18hh Warmblood. He was the most gentle thing you would ever meet has was also a fantastic dressage horse.

i didn't ride but my old trainer had an 18.1 irish TB that was only three years old, and he was nice but he was just too big he had a really hard time figuring out where to put his legs over the jumps (iknow he was three) And I had a clinic with Jay Hayes and Jerome(TB) was in my class and When Jay saw my little arab/QH pony he kind of sniffed at it and we ended kicking everbodies but in the clinic!!! I'm not much a fan of the super tall horses15-16.3 is fine for me.

I've seen a police horse that was about 18.2. I believe she's a Shire.

My horse, an appendix QH, is 17 hh at 4 (actually 3, but "4" as of Jan 1) and growing.
