16.2? That huntseat pics makes him look a lot bigger than only 16.2. Cool looking horse!

I show 2 of my OTTBs in the jumpers, 1 is retired from show (maybe ) in jumpers.
When I was a kid I rode a couple QHs in my LOW classes (like under 2').

My OTTBs all know how to jump, do dressage AND work cows....yeeup
And I'm training my hubby's QH mare how to jump a bit,,,she does ok But the stockier build makes it a lil more difficult for the nice rounding over big fences.

And yeah Jump! That gray looks bigger than 16.2 (unless the rider is tiny!) cuz my gelding is 16.2 and he's not that big

I didn't know you worked cows with your OTTB's? I talked to Joe at TB Friends today. I need to call him back later to get his Paypal address so I can make a donation. He is not computer literate so he didn't know what his Paypal address was.

Im 5'2... Jet is a appendix quarter horse with paint papers. He is around 16.2hh... He has the longest trot. I took him in a open walk/trot Hunter under saddle against trainers with 30horses in it and he won the class.. There were some world class horses and trainers in there...

I show a rocky mtn walker in everything! He gaited when i got him, but i trained him to do w/t/c and jump about 3'3''. Right now i only do open pleasure in both english and western, trail rides, 4-h, little dressage/jumping shows. I won alot of ribbons at the fair, and placed in most of my dressage/open classes.

My friend has a extremely stock QH mare that she was starting to show in dressage until she got hurt. She is a good horse, but her stockiness gets in her way. She cant jump, and for pleasure classes she cant pick herself up enough to make herself look pleasureable, same with dressage. She is a good horse but i built for actual on the farm cattle herding. its great if you dont care about ribbons but i think in all aspects there will be some points marked off in the judges mind, because she isnt built like a pleasure horse.

The buckskin is the Qh mare,

I have a QH prospet that will be doing hunters soon. He is an excellent mover, and he SHOULD be pretty good a jumping, but I don't want to jinx us! I also show a TB in the hunter ring, and he is my baby, and LOVES his job.

I've shown a Missouri Fox Trotter mare when I was in 4-H as a kid. Outside of that I have shown and owned Arabians, and Morgans. My new love and what I think will be my permanant one is Percherons. This was my second show season with the Percherons and we did very well. I hope to get the time one of these days to share photos on here.
