What are fun stuff to do with your horse when grooming him/or her, stuff to make them feel good, like a massage, or whatever.

i just thinnk they love general grooming like when ya comb out there tail nicely an talk to them!

I've been spending a lot of time with my new horse, Stevey; he loves being groomed! I think his favorite is scratches to his face and ears. He just closes his eyes, relaxes his ears and falls asleep!

a really nice massage that I do before I ride everyonce in awhile is like this picture:

first take your thumb and your index and run it down your horses neck like the pink. Then take your pointer finger and rub your horse in a curcular motion, about 1/2 inches. All of the horses I've done this to REALLY like it.

I usually just talk to my horses when I am grooming, it calms them down and they seem to like it =)

I think most horses have one spot they really like. Took me a while, but I figured out if I take my soft brush and repeatedly stroke Regal's cheek/jowel with it he'll close his eyes and start flopping his lip.

Star LOVES it when i brush her neck (with either a hard brush, curry comb, or just my hand) She stretches our her neck and flops her bottom lip down. Its very cute. Try to find a spot like this on your horse, it took me 6 months, but i finally found hers!
