what the maximum

o.k well i have someone who wants to learn to ride an well i only have bluebell who is sorta suitable

anyway how much do you think she could carry maximum

shes a 13.3 welsh section d mare

I would say she could probably handle someone who is 150lbs easily and most likely up to 200lbs without any pain or excess stress.

Just make sure (as always) the saddle is in the correct place and not too far back... a horse is stongest near the withers....

She's a chunky girl I'm sure she'll be fine. Cobs are bred for heavy duty work.

ewlhs cobs are bred to carry full grown men up to 15stone. She's smallish for a section D so i'd take a little bit off that but she would have absolutely no trouble with 13stone.
