I offered to pay for my daughter's lesson but she wouldn't have it. She cleans stalls and general help around the place to pay for it. Now she tells me that she learns twice as much about the horses working around them

Thats a great idea! I cleaned stalls, cleaned tack, lunged horses, bathed, clipped rode horses, to pay for my lessons yearsssssssssss ago! You should really ask about helping your trainer out for lessons!

I get my lessons for free on my horse because i work my butt off every saturday from 7:45-4:45pm grooming, cleaning stalls, raking areans, bathed, helped little kids, tacked up. Have my one lesson on my horse then excercise ponies IF i have time.

i can only work there in the summer cause i don't have a ride. and theres nothing for me to do execpt in summer because they have paid people during the school season. and the only thing could do for my trainer is exercise the horses but i'm not experinced enough to do that.

Ways a Kid can make money to help pay for lessons:

House cleaning for the neigbors
Pet sitting or dog walking services for friends and neighbors
Yard work for friends and neighbors.
If you live in an areas where it snows alot. shovelign snow off the neighbors walk ways.
Baby sitting if you are old enough.
And finally Why not sit down with your parents and see if they will PAY you for doing these chores around the house.
Every already mentioned the barn chores.
If you can sew making craft items or horse related items for sale at the barn.
Or you can do a bake sale at the barn or in your neighborhood.

Tons of ways a not of working age kid can make money.

Good luck!
Definitely try babysitting if you can get even just one or two families you're guaranteed some money.
How much do your lessons cost (if you don't mind me asking)?
