What month?

I have a Peruvian Paso/Mustang mare that I want to breed in 1 or 2 years and what month is best to breed her

I can NEVER tell when she is in heat.....could this mean she is infertile?

also I want to be able to ride her when I need to like Equestrian team (I think between Dec-April).......I can miss shows, 4-H & Pony Club.........but not OHSET(equestrian team)

Some mares just don't show heat very well. You could have a professional try teasing her and see if she shows anything (but sometimes that doesn't work). Otherwise, I'd suggest having the vet ultrasound to see when she's in heat- when the follicle is getting large enough to breed, etc.

Foals are generally born in spring or early summer. That being- you wouldn't be able to ride her later in her pregnancy (which are the months that you would want to be riding her).

When she foals depends on when you breed her. Mares have a gestation of 320 to 365+ days. With the average being right around 340 days (or about 11 months).
