We currently have mostly Wintec saddles, and I just sold my Stubben (horses grew out of it). Passier Vector & Wintec 500 Dressage (in the same picture!) The Passier (left) is an older saddle that fits my SO and our mares nicely. It has more of a 'half deep' seat compared to the newer dressage saddles. The 500 Dressage is a nice day to day saddle, while we save the money for a nice leather saddle. I use it for lessons and trails. It fits 3 of our 4 horses well. Wintec 500 AP (10 years old ish) Thi sis our big draft gelding's saddle. While I occassionally will use it on the mares for XC, I'm not particularly fond of it. It puts you in a heinous chair seat if you're not in two point Stubben Sigfried VSD I just sold this saddle, which I adored. Very nice leather, great balance, comfortable saddle. |

Right now, I have 2 saddles. My dressage is a Thornhill Vienna II (19" seat, 36cm tree). I use this one on both my DraftX (pictured) and my Arab gelding (with the use of a special pad): ![]() My trail saddle is a Circle Y Topeka (same color, but mine has wood stirrups): ![]() My next saddle with either be a Thornhill Berlin or a Freeform (either Classic, Liberty or Enduro).

I have an Antares custom. Not customized to my horse. It's buffalo leather..and absolutely amazing. So comfortable! I love it..and if it fit my horse right, we'd be keeping it forever. I did 3' and 3'3" courses in this, as well as fences up to 4'3"+. Kept me very secure..thank goodness!! ![]() ![]() |
