What Kind Of Feed Do You Use?

What Kind Of Feed Do You Use? Purina, Nutrena, Platform, Local Brands, or Other. Personally I use Purina and Local Brands (oats). Also tell me what type of feed it is (oats, Omelene 100, Platform Senior, etc...) and why you feed it.

I had to vote other. I'm currently feeding Dumor StablEnergy with a small amount of Purina Enrich mixed in. After I run out of this, I'll likely switch to Triple Crown Lite (similar to the StablEnergy).

I'm feeding this because it is grain free and concentrated. Still having trouble getting my mare to eat enough to get her nutrients (2 lbs a day). And she definately doesn't need the calories. Unfortunately she's gotten to where she pretty much won't eat the Enrich by itself at all any more (would only have to eat 1 lb a day). That's the only easily available ration balancer in my area. If I could get her to eat it, she'd definately be on 'just' it.

I feed an extruded feed, called Extruded Advantage 14
http://www.extrudedhorsefeed.com/
(but the website doesn't seem to be workin at the moment )
Here's a list of some of the ingredients...
dehydrated Alfalfa meal, beet pulp, sun-cured timothy meal, dried kelp, ground corn, ground barley, ground oats, brewers rice, soybeans, flax seed, rice bran. Thats just a partial list.
Supposed to cut down on any chance of colic.

Although, its a bit pricey, but I think worth it.
$15 for 40lb bags.
