What kind of boots are these called?

One of my friends horses Omar has recently begun training and a lot of people were noticing his ankles were like bashing together. So the farrier came out and reset him and said to put on some boots. But for the life of me I can't remember what the dern boots were called. Does anybody know what there called? Help....

i've always called them just horse boots...i even looked them up that way to make sure...lol. i had to do the same for my mare, just the hind boots all the time for work, but the front boots sometimes

my farrier also ended up having to trim her slightly different than normal for her, which helped alot.

For the front feet it might be overreach boots, or splint boots.

Fetlock boots (hinds), splint boots, tendon boots (fronts) could be among others.

brushing boots or splint boots, essentially the same things, would help if the horses legs tend to rub into each other preventing injury
