I don't spend a ton of time grooming him and stuff only the stuff I have to. He has never had any complaints.

Sorry I don't know terms, For me they're all "thingy" "Thingamabob" and "Doo Hicky". I know what it looks like, but no terms

1-Fly Spray
2-Curry comb the pee (she lies down in her mess a lot)
(-Curry comb her neck [with the rubber curry combs] just cuz she loves it)
3-Brush rest of body with the usual brushes
4-Brush legs with leg curry and leg bristle brushes
5-Brush Face with face bristle brush
6-Sponge Eye/Nose Goopies
7-Brush off hoof guck with hoof brush
8-Pick out feet [left front-left hind-right hind-right front]
9-Oil Hooves (Inside and Out)
10-Quick brush mail and tail

If Going for a ride:
-Vetrolin Chest/neck

If not going out for a ride:
-Equitite (sp?) Knees, Hocks, Ankles (horsey term?), Stifles
-Blue Lotion on neck

If she's just come in from the field, I'll sponge off her legs
For Shows, I'll use Show Sheen, Green Spot Remover and so on.

Pretty simple since I groom every day and pretty much keep up with it.

- Mud brush.
- Soft brush.
- Pick hooves.
- Fly spray.
- Wet towel to eyes/nose (horse has allergies).
- Fix or redo braids.

I do:

Soft/Dandy Brush
Stiff Brush
Face Brush
Tail/Mane (when needed; her tail is SO tangly I would need to cut it up a lot to brush it out all nicely!)
Hooves

I use a metal curry comb on the brushes to get all the hair/dirt out between brushings.

Daily grooming -
- Hoofpic, I use grooming wipes to clean outside of the hoof.
- Flyspray.
-Curry comb-I like the flexible jellie ones or scrubby mitts best, they work so much better than the stiff ones-I curry the legs, stomach and face with those.
- A sprits of Vetrolin shine(it's a great conditioner, it protects the coat from the sun too) all over including mane, tail, and legs.
- Hard dandy brush over body.
- I use another brush that's not soft, but not as stiff or hard and go over the coat with it, I brush legs too.
- Soft brush all over body and face.

If I'm being weird and not in a rush, I repeat that over(minus the hoof picking).

THEN;

- coconut oil in the tail, brush carefully.
- Clean nose, eyes, ears, dock with damp sponge.
- Wipe down body with grooming wipe, "buff" with my sheepskin grooming mitt.

I'm a bit of a fanatic, I'd probably throw myself off a bridge before I put my horse away with sweatmarks, it's a major peeve.

OH;

Wash tail once weekly.
Bathe 2x per month with baby shampoo and suave conditioner-I find that the coat is unaffected if you use mega gentle products.
