I have my phases haha

But mainly jumping, I love knowing that in a couple of strides you and your 1100 lbs horse are about to defy gravity for a split second or two

and trail riding, theres just something relaxing and challenging (at the same time) about riding on a dirt road with no fences around and the possibility that anything could pop up at no given time

I love reining and cutting. The trainer and you and the horse. That's all. The score and roar of the crowd as you nail a pattern is amazing. You can go so many places cutting. The neighbors ranch is my FAVORITE!!! I love to ride over at branding time and help cut calves out. It is so much fun. Also the feeling of grooming and preping for the shows is grand.

Reining because it's putting all the pieces together for one well trained horse

Eventing... Because i'm nuts!

I love a bit of jumping, but I'm also into galloping around the grass, so low-level cross-country does me fine.

However, I am a total Dressage nut, and I'd love to take it higher levels too - something about tuning into the horse, unlocking the talent and working to perfect your moves makes me feel really determined.

And at the end of it all, like I said before, a good blast of a hack in the country with lots of galloping and some well-placed streams and logs is good fun.
