EVENTING! It is so much fun! you really get to showcase your horse's talents and your own talents! The precision required for dressage, the stamina for cross country, and the balance for show jumping. my trainer really got me hooked!!

Eventing all the way!

It is the ultimate test of horse and rider.

Dressage- Even though it's the most difficult phase for most eventers, when you finally get it right it's so incredible.

Cross Country- The adrenline rush from galloping at 3'7 solid fences just so amazing. I couldn't imagine quitting. It also helps having a brave horse You just can't think about the fact that there's a possibility that you might not finish with your neck in tact.

Stadium Jumping- The percision of it all. It's so different from jumping XC. The feeling of a double clear round is so fullfilling, I love it.

My favorite discipline is show jumping by far! I rode saddleseat for about 3 years and switched to the hunters. I have admit the rush of going over fences is a rewarding feeling I would never trade!

The connection felt between horse and rider when correctly riding dressage is amazing.
It really teaches you to 'feel', timing of aids, quieting aids, how the horse works, etc.
Everyone mentions the elegance and beauty of dressage but it also requires incredible patience and quite a lot of strength.

There is so much talent in every discipline, though. I wouldn't have the stomach for barrel racing or eventing. hehe
